What is the best firewall?

I want a firewall that will work good with AVG Antivirus Free Edition. Also I don't want to hear anything about Zone Alarm or Comodo those are a pain in the behind to use I have not had a good experience with them at all. I am willing to buy, if necessary, a good firewall or if a free one is good enough.

But frankly, ANY good firewall is going to be a ''pain in the behind'' at first until it learns all the things you do on a regular basis. It's called the firewall's 'learning curve'. You won't get away from it entirely. (And Comodo *really* is the best, and the nagging really does tail-off in a couple of days... ;-)
