I've gone through many free Anti Virus programs and i want to know which one is the best to sti

Currently im using AntiVir PE Classic. Its working pretty great. It has deleted about 200 trojans in my 1 hr use.

- I've used Windows Live OneCare and i read comments about how its a waste.

-I've used Windows defender and it was kind of a waste.

-Theres 2 other programs I'd like to tryout which is http://www.activevirusshield.com/antivir... and the avast! anti virus.

Anyone know which one i should be using?

The bottom line is NO one program can stop all virii/trojans/spam. The best way is a limited account and knowledge of what causes infections. Check the link and become informed.
avast! and AVG are two very good free anti-virus programs. Just stick with 1 though, it will offer you good enough protection.

the server must be busy,try after sometime.Also make sure your internet connections are working fine and that your firewall is not blocking avg.

First of all verify that your internet connection is working correctly, than try again. if that doesn't work then check the settings of the anti virus regarding updates.

or just give it some time and try later because at times the server with Grisoft may just be not accessible..

I have just installed a free anti-virus off the net called 'Avira Antivir PersonalEdition Class

I have had this installed for a few months now %26 have not really had any viruses. However, I seem to be being attacked by a worm. I have run the antivirus %26 done a scan of all my files %26 drives but it still seems to be there. Does anyone know this program or have any ideas.

I don't have alot of money to pay for the big companies subscription based antivirus software so I'm looking for the best I can get freeware or otherwise. Prevx worked well but I used up the 30 day trial. Also have spybot but that's not doing so well either. Any other suggestions?
